Detection of transparent objects

Whether it's clear plastic packaging, bottles made of glass or PET, vials or droppers, flat or hollow glass, glass tubing, or plastic wrap for securing loads on pallets – automation specialists face the task of providing solutions that can reliably detect transparent materials in a number of different manufacturing processes.

With the help of superior SICK technologies such as AutoAdapt or the autocollimation concept, highly transparent objects can be reliably detected even if they cause very little signal attenuation in the light path.
