Dual lens concept

In the dual lens system, the sent and received beams are physically separate and are positioned at a shallow angle to one another. The sent and received beams only overlap in a certain segment of the sensing range. At close range, there is a blind zone in which objects cannot be detected. Therefore, when using sensors with dual lens optics, it is important to always maintain at least the minimum range.
