| Legitimate interest | SICK processes image, video and 3D data in combination with the above-mentioned additional information for the training and validation of AI systems and for the validation of deterministic algorithms. Most of the data is processed automatically. This processing is done to protect people in the vicinity of machines and to prevent accidents involving them. By developing such a system for the protection of persons, there is a justified corporate interest in the general welfare of all persons. The purpose of the system's accident prevention therefore means that future protection in the interests of all people outweighs the right to the image recordings of the individual, which is worthy of protection. |

| Storage duration | On the basis of the data, the accuracy and robustness of the product are to be assessed and improved over the product life cycle.
