Electronic manufacturing services (EMS) refers to providers of contract manufacturing services in the electronics industry.

These service providers are also known as electronic contract manufacturers (ECM).

The services offered by these companies range from printed circuit board assembly to the production of electronic modules and even entire devices. EMS providers can handle everything from development, production and final assembly to supplying a wide range of different services.
