The Safe Robotics Area Protection safety systems from SICK are a starting point for safe human-robot interaction and enable cooperative and freely-accessible robot applications. The systems feature a tested functional logic which can be combined with safety sensors from SICK. Safe Robotics Area Protection is also available as manufacturer-specific variants, e.g. for Universal Robots, FANUC, KUKA and Yaskawa. Thanks to the detailed documentation and robot-specific settings, these variants can be easily integrated into robot controls. The safety systems comply with international safety standards and enable an increase in productivity thanks to less downtime and optimized work processes.
