Advantages

High reliability thanks to innovative scan technology

Reduce downtime in harsh industrial environments. Thanks to the reliable safeHDDM® scanning technology, the microScan3 and nanoScan3 safety laser scanners from SICK are particularly rugged. This technology has been developed especially for outdoor use. The outdoorScan3 with outdoor safeHDDM® is particularly well-suited for use in snow, rain and fog. This opens up a wide range of application fields and enables increases in productivity.

More about safeHDDM®

Always ready for operation

Increase the availability of your machine or system: safeHDDM® scanning technology makes safety laser scanners insensitive to environmental influences such as dirt, dust or ambient light.

Product recommendation microScan3

Compact and rugged

The patented safeHDDM® procedure allows the combination of large scanning range, high-precision measurement data and a compact size. For example, the nanoScan3 with its 3 m protective field range and height of approx. 80 mm fits easily under a Euro pallet.

Product recommendation nanoScan3

Tailored to your applications – indoor and outdoor

Safety laser scanners enable you to increase productivity, both indoors and outdoors. They protect hazardous areas, hazardous points and access points up to performance level d and are suitable for use on stationary machines, in mobile applications and when monitoring cooperation with robots. This makes safe and productive cooperation between human and machine in everyday industrial processes a reality. If a lower safety level is sufficient, the TiM-S safety laser scanner from SICK is a good choice.
Farsighted for high flexibility

Benefit from a safe 9 m scanning range, especially for vertical access protection. Designed to protect material transfer stations, robots and AGV systems, the microScan3 monitors the safe cooperation between human and machine.

Product recommendation microScan3

Compact for big space savings

Automate your production and logistics with AGVs and the nanoScan3: the sensor provides reliable navigation data and, with a height of only 80 mm, can be installed easily in minimal space. Do you have an application with a lower safety level? Then the TiM-S with performance level b is a great choice.

Customized settings Safety laser scanners from SICK offer up to 128 freely configurable fields and up to 8 simultaneous protective fields. This means, for example, that the area to be monitored by the safety laser scanner can be flexibly adjusted to the speed, load and cornering movements. Multiple sampling and resolution are also individually adjustable.
Precise measurement data With safety laser scanners, additional measuring sensor technology often becomes superfluous. High-precision measurement data is available at all times, enabling precise localization and navigation. Safety laser scanners from SICK achieve a navigation range of up to 64 m with an angular resolution of 0.1°.

Easy to handle at any time

Safety laser scanners from SICK can be quickly integrated into your machine thanks to the standardized connection technology. Commissioning of the sensors as well as verification and documentation of the machine are easy to do with software. The consistent diagnosis of system states is also displayed in the software and facilitated by the user-friendly display on the device.
Quick mounting and standardized wiring

Quick to mount and replace and easy to wire thanks to the use of standardized connection technology – this is the convenience you experience with safety laser scanners. The nanoScan3 can be integrated directly into industrial networks via I/Os, and the microScan3 also via EtherNet/IP™, CIP Safety™, PROFIsafe and EtherCAT.
