Glass plate positioning

The position of the glass plates in the glass plate storage is detected in order to control the system feed-in. Resistant to dirt, dust, moisture and fog, the UM18 ultrasonic sensor outputs the glass plate position either via an analog output or IO-Link. This ensures smooth system feed-in.
