Damper control in exhaust gas flows of power plants

In all types of power plants, dampers regulate the infeed and speed of exhaust gases, smoke or liquids. DAX® linear encoders control the opening and closing of the dampers. The encoders are integrated into the hydraulic cylinders and thus well protected against the harsh ambient conditions.
