Monitoring of dust emissions

Dust concentration and opacity in the stack emission must be measured in power plants fired by biomass CO. The exact measuring ranges and the number of components are dependent on local or national regulatory requirements and are indicated in the plant operating permit. The DUSTHUNTER SP100 dust measuring device with probe is certified for measuring very low to medium levels of dust concentration. It works on the principle of forward scattering of light.

The device features an automatic zero and reference point check and a contamination check. The DUSTHUNTER T200 measures medium to high levels of dust concentrations based on transmittance. With a contamination check on both sides, it also features an optical unit with automatic self-alignment.
