Detection tasks in aircraft tractors

The particularly rugged IMS inductive proximity sensors detect joint positions and record end positions of aircraft tractors. The large and high-precision sensing ranges of the sensors enable exact process control, e.g. engagement of the nose wheel. Thanks to their stable design, the proximity sensors reduce downtime, e.g. during the time-critical push-back process of vehicle tractors. Specially adapted for harsh use in vehicles, the IMS impresses with high load dump and electromagnetic compatibility.
