Level monitoring in the dust hopper

Level monitoring in the dust hoppers of off-gas systems is indispensable for ensuring the fault-free operation of the filter. If the hopper is over-filled, the filter elements may be damaged, and may have to be removed. Replacement of the filter bags can delay the process or even interrupt operation. These interruptions cost time and money. Additional time is required for cleaning. Ultrasonic sensors such as the UM30, or vibration level switches such as the LBV300 monitor the level and reliably detect blockages in dust hoppers
