Overview

Maintenance and mounting work pose a risk of electric shock. Even during normal machine or system operation, the safety of the user must not be put at risk by the electrical equipment. SICK experts check whether the necessary protective measures have been implemented appropriately. Without interfering with the existing wiring, the experts obtain measurements with calibrated measuring instruments.

At a glance
  • Determination of the correct function of the protective bonding circuit as per the requirements of IEC 60204-1
  • Determination of the contact resistances and leakage currents
  • Production of a test record, which also describes any defects
  • Production of an inspection report
