Selective catalytic reduction (SCR) outlet prior to air heater

The NOx concentration is typically measured at the outlet of the SCR to calculate the de-nitrification efficiency. Ammonia is often measured here to ensure that NH3 slip is low. This can cause clogging of the air heater and NH3 bonding, which makes disposal more difficult, for example. The GM32 in-situ gas analyzer measures NO and NO2 (NOx) concentrations in the exhaust duct – directly, quickly, and without gas sampling and transport.
