Reliable person detection and localization of an automated tugger train
Automated tugger trains deliver goods to the production line in precise cycles, increasing productivity. People located in the path of an AGV must be protected. To safely detect people and prevent collisions, the microScan3 safety laser scanner is installed at the front of the tractor. The NAV3xx 2D LiDAR sensor mounted on the vehicle mast ensures precise localization of the tractor in production halls.
