SSI
The SSI (synchronous serial interface) is an interface that is used for serial data transmission and allows the transmission of absolute positions. The interface was developed by Max Stegmann GmbH. The advantage of this mode of transmission is that both the speed of the data transmission and the time when the position is recorded can be controlled by the programmable logic controller. The interface is thus an ideal way to ensure reliable data transmission.
