Safe positioning of hall and traveling cranes
Sensors for safe position and speed monitoring are essential to prevent serious collisions and to control several cranes on a track. Crane applications up to SILCL3 / PL e can be implemented with the safe linear positioning safety system certified according to EN ISO 13849-1:2015 and EN 62061. Using a fixed bar code tape, the measurement system transmits the current crane position to the safety controller in regular intervals, which immediately evaluates positions.
