Implementing the Hermes standard on a loading unit
The Hermes Standard Solution portfolio makes it possible to integrate a loading unit with SMEMA interface into the Hermes network, regardless of the manufacturer. By integrating identification sensors, the board ID and the magazine ID can also be detected and passed on with the Hermes interface. The modular hardware and software portfolio can be adapted to individualized applications at any time and also allows for vertical integration into higher-level production systems via the IPC CFX standard as well as customized IoT protocols.
