The Safe Entry Exit safety system from SICK is the TÜV-certified alternative to traditional muting: It enables a safe material flow thanks to differentiation between man and material – without additional muting sensors. Only a signal from the process controller is needed. As soon as the transport goods have passed the protective device, it is immediately ready again to protect humans from hazards. Depending on requirements, any type 4 electro-sensitive protective device (ESPE) can be combined with the software for Siemens S7 controllers. The controller evaluates up to 15 material gates and provides the relevant diagnostic data.
