Continuous threshold adaptation

Sensors designed for the detection of transparent objects feature continuous threshold adaptation, which allows the sensor to adapt to optical conditions. For example, when detection is impaired due to contamination, such as dust that has settled on the sensor lenses, this is signaled by the sensor, which then adjusts itself to the new conditions using continuous threshold adaptation. This ensures increased availability, even under harsh application conditions.
