Purpose of the role:
These vacancies at SICK (UK) LTD have arisen due to fluctuation in personnel within the Regional Sales Team. The positions cover the following postcodes
- South East: BN, BR, CR, CT, DA, HP, KT, ME, PO, RG, RH, SL, SM, SO, TN, TW, UB
- South West: BA, BH, BN, BS, CF, EX, GL, NP, PL, SA, SN, SP, TA, TQ, TR.
They are field-based roles with a home office ideally located within the Sales territory.
Your Key Challenges:
Establish and maintain knowledge of SICK products and their applications • Sell those products and applications to existing customers • Identify and develop new customers for Factory Automation – Regional Sales in the South (see above postcodes) • Achieve targets by identifying sales opportunities, telephoning and visiting customers and potential customers, maintaining an average of 14 visits per weeks • Account management activities, including sales presentations, dealing with sales inquiries, sales proposals and quotations • Identify customers’ projects and product requirements • Regularly communicate and cooperate with: Manager- Regional Sales, Sales Manager, Product Managers, Sales Engineers and Internal Sales • Establish and maintain knowledge of competitors’ products, prices and discount structures • Establish and maintain good relationships with distributors
Your qualification:
Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering (e.g. BEng hons) or equivalent industry-based experience • Excellent sales record and proven Account Management skills • About 2 years’ experience with reference to the Factory Automation Sector.
