The Pallet Pocket Detection SensorApp provides the data required for precise detection of storage spaces and pallets. It runs directly on the Visionary-T AP 3D vision sensor from SICK. The measured values required to pick up the pallet are pre-processed and evaluated on the sensor, then transmitted to the control of the automated manned forklift truck. The Pallet Pocket Detection SensorApp is based on SICK AppSpace and can be loaded on the sensor as a complete, application-specific Key App.

2D LiDAR Sensors can be mounted in a single position where low hanging structures/ducting are present, to detect potential overheight issues. They are configurable to create alert/alarm zones via Digital I/O to simplify the communication. With a long range (80m) a single device can cover a large area of your warehouse/site.

The Safe Entry Exit safety system is a TÜV-certified alternative to classic muting: It reliably differentiates between humans and materials without the need for additional muting sensors. It requires just a single signal from the process controller. As soon as the transport goods have passed the protective device, the system is automatically ready protect again. Depending on requirements, any type 4 electro-sensitive protective device (ESPE) can be combined with the software. Variants are available using the SICK Flexi Soft safety controller or Siemens S7.
