VMS6200— Volume Measurement System for large items

The VMS6200 system is a latest addition to the already capable line up of SICK dimensioning solutions.  The VMS6200 easily solves challenging applications to dimension objects and determine their exact position. The system can be used on different conveyor systems and is perfectly suited for dynamic and reliable measurement of large objects as well as black, film wrapped or strongly reflective objects. To do so, several laser-based measuring units determine the smallest enveloping box of the object, regardless of its shape. The modular setup of the track and trace system ensures compatibility with existing solutions from SICK and enables adaptations to customer-specific applications.
