Detecting the wane
Multiple Ruler3000 3D vision cameras can be combined by integrators into a high performance 3D scanning system. Ruler3000 precisely measures the cross-sectional area of the wooden board even in harsh environments. This enables the position of the wane to be determined precisely and the board to be trimmed in the downstream multi-blade circular saw.
