Reliable 2D code identification for challenging industrial applications

The HW191x mobile hand-held scanner securely and reliably identifies not only two-dimensional codes but also all standard linear and stacked one-dimensional bar codes. Rugged housing with IP65 enclosure rating enables the mobile hand-held scanner to withstand even adverse ambient

conditions. At the same time, however, it is light, easy to hold, and can be used simply and intuitively due to its triple read feedback via LED, beeper, and vibration. The wireless variants deliver flexibility and mobility. SICK can provide connection modules for integration into industrial fieldbuses such as PROFIBUS or Ethernet TCP/IP. The combination of reliable code reading, rugged design, and SICK connectivity facilitates use in an extremely wide range of industrial applications.

Modular connectivity enables integration into many fieldbus technologies: PROFIBUS DP, PROFINET IO, Ethernet TCP/IP, EtherCAT®, DeviceNet. For use in systems such as fixed 1D bar code scanners, 2D cameras, and RFID reading devices, the AUX connectivity offers a cost-effective solution.
Especially when it comes to stationary identification solutions, manual mobile code reading is often required as a back-up - this can be done economically with AUX loop-in.
