Protection of rack-moving mobile robots
The moving of racks in production and logistics environments is increasingly being customized using mobile robots. The mobile robot moves under the rack and transports it to the desired target location. The TiM7xxS 2D LiDAR sensor is ideally suited for the free navigation of mobile robots within a warehouse or production, in particular to protect against the associated minor risks. With its combination of a protective field evaluation function and reliable measurement data streaming, the sensor makes non-contact person and object detection possible. As a result, the robots are continuously available, can dynamically respond to changes, and flexibly adjust their route based on their surroundings.
