Flexible safety system makes AGV I4.0 READY
Simultaneous protective fields offer automated guided vehicles (automated guided vehicles) unexpected possibilities. Thanks to the smart evaluation of up to eight simultaneous protective fields of the microScan3 safety laser scanner, the environment can be perceived in a differentiated manner. For example, this enables the approach of transfer points without unwanted shut-off for the highest level of personal safety. The Ethernet-based safe EFI-pro fieldbus interface easily connects up to six microScan3 units with the Flexi Soft safety controller. This is how a total of 48 simultaneous protective fields can be evaluated around the AGV.
