SICK remains true to the Hannover Messe

Mar 5, 2020

Waldkirch, 5 March 2020 – Deutsche Messe AG (DMAG) has postponed the HANNOVER MESSE 2020 to the week from 13 - 17 July 2020. DMAG is thus responding to global developments related to the Coronavirus. SICK will join the DMAG on its chosen path and rearrange all its activities appropriately.

It is difficult to predict how the Covid-19 situation will develop. So SICK AG completely understands DMAG’s decision. “The health of our customers, employees and partners is the absolute top priority. Nevertheless, we regret this rescheduling of the trade fair but will be there when it starts,” says Bernhard Müller. “The Hannover Messe is a good platform for us, enabling discussions with visitors from all over the world. We want to take advantage of this again this year,” adds Müller.

SICK is one of the world’s leading producers of sensors and sensor solutions for industrial applications. The company, founded by Dr. Erwin Sick in 1946 and based in Waldkirch-im-Breisgau near Freiburg, is a technology and market leader and has a global presence with more than 50 subsidiaries and associated companies, as well as numerous sales offices. During the 2018 fiscal year SICK employed almost 10,000 personnel worldwide and achieved Group sales of about EUR 1.6 bn.
