Presence monitoring under demanding ambient conditions
In the metal industry, there are high demands on the resistance of the sensors. The sensors used on the hot rolling table must be able to handle contamination from oil or water, for example, as well as high temperatures and vibrations. The WLA12L small photoelectric sensor is designed for these types of application conditions. Its rugged metal housing resists external influences. The high operating reserve makes it resistant to contamination. In addition, the W12L with its very small, highly visible laser light spot allows for accurate edge detection. Due to the switching frequency of 2.5 kHz, the sensor has a very fast response time.
