Safe detection of target positions for protective field muting

An AGV with handling robot positions itself in front of a processing station. The safety laser scanners of the AGV can adjust flexibility to the situation so that the protective fields now also cover the complete hazardous area of the robot. The AGV must reliably detect the processing station so this adjustment can be made safely. With the contour detection fields, the microScan3 units detect the specific contour of the environment. This information can be evaluated using the safety controller and, if necessary, the protective fields of the microScan3 can be muted.
