Hazardous area protection on material racks

Thanks to its protective field range of up to 9 m, the microScan3 safety laser scanner can also monitor large areas. A single laser scanner is enough to simultaneously monitor the access points to the two racks. The microScan3 can be integrated into the safety controller via OSSDs or even directly via industrial networks such as PROFINET PROFIsafe, EtherCAT® FSoE or EtherNet/IP™ CIP Safety™. By using a deTem4 Core safety multibeam sensor to guard the rear zone, interaction of the robot is detected safely and the work area protected effectively.
