Empty tote detection and level measurement

The ability to detect empty totes and fill levels plays an important role in inventory control and process reliability. Depending on the industrial environment, it may be necessary to detect ultra-small objects in the millimeter range in the load carriers. Either LiDAR sensors, ultrasonic sensors, or 2D and 3D vision sensors can be used depending on the application requirements.
