Monitoring of dust emissions
The FWE200DH dust measuring device is designed to measure the dust concentration in wet gases. Measurement can be difficult downstream of a wet flue gas desulfurization system (FGD), because the water vapor interferes with the dust measurement. Using the FWE200DH, the gas is extracted via a probe and heated above dew point. Any droplets in the gas vaporize, making it impossible for them to falsify the measurement results. The scattered light principle enables even very low dust concentrations to be measured. The FWE200DH features an automatic zero and reference point check and internal contamination check system, resulting in minimum maintenance requirements.
