Protection of service robots at airports
Autonomously moving service robots are increasingly be used to greet and advise passengers at airport terminals. The TiM7xxS 2D LiDAR sensor is ideally suited for the free navigation of service robots at airports, in particular to protect against the associated minor risks. Equipped with measurement data streaming and protective field evaluation, the sensor makes non-contact person and object detection possible. As a result, the robots are continuously available, can dynamically respond to changes, and flexibly adjust their route based on their surroundings.
