The Deep Learning Classification License makes it possible to productively use the Deep Learning functions contained in certain SICK products for classification of images. The Deep Learning API available in programmable SICK devices is activated for this purpose. A SICK AppSpace SensorApp is required to use the Deep Learning API. SensorApps such as the Intelligent Inspection SensorApp can be used here. The Deep Learning API can also be used when developing your own SICK AppSpace SensorApps.

Provision
The license is sold with a ticket that you receive in an e-mail. For use on a specific SICK device, you must activate the license at license.sick.com. Detailed instructions will be provided.

Firmware
The firmware of a product for which the Deep Learning functions are intended must use AppEngine version 2.12 or higher

A SICK AppSpace SensorApp which uses Deep Learning is also needed to use the functions activated by this license. This can be individually created with SICK AppStudio, or ready-made SensorApps can be used as an alternative. You can find a current overview at dstudio.cloud.sick.com
