Position monitoring of sonotrodes when welding plastics
When ultrasonic welding plastic parts, it is essential that the welding heads or sonotrodes be in the correct position. This is the only way to ensure that the necessary heat is produced in the seam area to fuse the plastic and create a permanent bond. The MPS-T position sensors can be used to reliably monitor the position of the sonotrodes.
