Reliable component detection for direct part marking

Pipes have a 2D code for identification and traceability purposes. This code is dot-peened onto the surface, which prevents it from becoming damaged and illegible in later work steps. The Lector620 image-based code reader with diffuse lighting reliably reads the code even on curved and reflective surfaces.
