Monitoring of organic residues in process water or waste water
In the oil and gas industry, contamination of process water, surface and waste water with hydrocarbon compounds is a constant risk. Therefore, the concentration of organic compounds in water from cooling and heating systems, steam boilers, and in-water treatment plants is continuously monitored using total organic carbon (TOC) analyzer systems. SICK offers solutions for real-time, low-maintenance TOC measurement based on UV or thermal oxidation which can also be used in hazardous areas.
