The new generation of W4F, W16 and W26 photoelectric sensors come with a consistent concept for the operating and display elements: BluePilot.
The blue LED alignment aid speeds up the process of optimally aligning the sensor with the reflector or the sender with the receiver and also serves as a quality check for the alignment. BluePilot also reports when the detection quality is being impaired by contamination or vibrations: this identifies faults early and avoids unexpected production downtimes.
In the case of the photoelectric proximity sensors, a push-and-turn mechanism enables the sensor to be adjusted quickly and precisely, and the LED display depicts the sensing range.

Retro-reflective and through-beam photoelectric sensors
The blue LED alignment aid speeds up the process of optimally aligning the sensor and reflector or the sender and receiver during commissioning. Thanks to visual feedback on the alignment quality, the sensor can be commissioned with maximum operational safety.
During operation, changes in the operational safety due to contamination, misalignment or vibrations can be recognized at a glance and availability assured.

Photoelectric proximity sensor
The combination of teach-in button and potentiometer in one operating element enables intuitive fine-tuning in a matter of seconds. Moreover, the LED display generates an optical representation of the sensing range, providing an additional orientation aid.

Photoelectric retro-reflective sensor for detecting transparent objects
The appropriate detection mode for the object characteristics can be set by means of a rotary control. The LED display of the W16 and W26 indicates immediately what mode the sensor is in.
