Electro-mechanical safety switches

Your Benefits

  • High availability and safety due to the cone shaped alignment aid
  • Improved diagnostics due to additional signaling contacts
  • Flexible electrical connectivity due to three cable entry glands
  • Simple electrical connection due to large terminal compartment

Safety switches with a separate actuator are made up of two parts: a safety switch that is mounted on the fixed part and an actuator that is mounted on the mobile part of the guard. When the guard is closed, the actuator is moved into the safety switch. This achieves the safe status and the safety-relevant contacts are closed. These devices are ideal for protecting sliding and rotating doors, as well as removable protective covers. The i17S safety switch with a separate actuator offers a large terminal compartment with 3 contacts.

At a glance
