Identification of bar codes on pallet foot

The unique marking of freight is essential in logistics. Pallets are often used for storage and transport, and when used in storage systems, labeling the foot area of the pallet with a bar code is common. This enables track-and-trace applications, routing and unique assignment of the storage location. The codes provide an automated warehousing system with accurate information on the position and freight of each pallet, allowing each stored item to be managed quickly and efficiently.
