    Special ambient conditions require special solutions. A common reason for use of fiber-optic sensors is tight installation space. Fibers from SICK can be laid flexibly at the most remote detection locations. They are space-saving and can be mounted in nearly any area thanks to the tiny size of the end sleeves. The product range is structured for good clarity as well as quick generation of new variants and also offers an excellent price/performance ratio. Combined with SICK fiber-optic sensors, the fibers can be used for the widest range of detection tasks, including strict precision requirements.

    Fiber-optic sensors can be used where things get tight – both in terms of small installation spaces and when detection tasks are challenging. The LLX fiber-optic sensors from SICK guide the emitted light of the corresponding fiber-optic sensor to any detection location, no matter how small, and back again for evaluation. The fiber-optic sensors from SICK enable a high degree of parameter adjustment to any application, making them highly flexible in many aspects.

    Tiny fiber-optic heads with minimum sleeve diameters of up to 1.5 mm can also be accommodated in very limited installation spaces – an important feature of sensors in increasingly compact machines.

    Combined with SICK fiber-optic sensors for evaluating the signals, the fibers are the ideal solution for the widest range of detection tasks, even with strict precision requirements.

    The LLX fiber-optic product range offers both through-beam and photoelectric sensor variants with smooth sleeves or threaded heads. You can also select between axial and radial fiber-optic heads. In addition, problem-free length adjustment as required is possible at an outstanding price-performance ratio.

    Thanks to the small sizes of the fiber-optic heads, sensors can be used even when space is tight. Together with the corresponding fiber-optic sensors, different applications can be solved, and at a reasonable price. This enables the automation of compact machine designs with high efficiency.
