  • Sales Engineer Logistics

    The Sales Engineer Logistics supports SICK and its customers to drive front end sales of products in the Logistics Automation industry and focus on growth markets. 

    Your Tasks:

    • Maintain and grow existing customer base and support, develop new opportunities,  and relationship (lobbying, spec-in), promote new products and prevent entry of  competition to meet / exceed budgets
    • Visit customers and understand their needs
    • Help local solution engineering team to  prepare quotes, follow-up and take orders
    • Business follow-up (for allocated markets): Propose internal budget, forecast and  monthly reforecast 
    • Active customer sales calls to promote and increase SICK product business
    • Active monthly travel and visits to allocated customers and markets as defined by SICK 
    • Follow-up of orders, shipments, and customer overdues through local technical /  commercial team
    • Key markets: As decided by company from time to time
    • Update local project list / CRM / etc. for the accounts and opportunities handled
    • Cooperate to support international business by supporting SICK SSU's globally, GIC,  GBC/BU's
    • Work with FA/LA/PA sales and MPM team to promote the full SICK product portfolio and increase cross selling opportunities
     

    Your Profile:

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering
    • 5 - 8 years of experience in similiar field
    • Prior experience in technical and external sales 
    • Extensive and thorough experience in similar role within manufacturing environment, system integrators, end-users, distributors / partners
    • Prior UAE experience and UAE/Middle East driving license will be an advantage
    • Fluent written/spoken English
    • Knowledge, experience with database, CRM, ERP (SAP) is a plus
    • Multicultural sensitivity with strong communication skills
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills
    • Thrives under pressure and meets deadlines 
  • Accountant

     The accountant oversees and manage the day-to-day accounting activities in coordination with Head Quarter to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and timely payments.

    Your Tasks:

    • Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly closings.
    • Monitor and analyze accounting data and for financial reports or statements.
    • Coordinate and complete annual audits.
    • Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions and approvals.
    • Handle weekly and monthly treasury reports: reconciliation, cash flow forecasts.
    • Assist with reviewing and monitoring of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.
    • Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
    • Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
    • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
    • Provide forecasting and timely reporting for budgets and verify reports, financial correspondence, and other documents using applicable software within established procedures.
    • Oversee financial data collection for accounting department.
    • Assist with other accounting projects.

    Your Profile:

    • Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
    • 2 - 3 years of experience as an accountant
    • Excellent knowledge of accounting of local financial regulations and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
    • Hands-on experience with accounting software like SAP
    • Experience with general ledger functions
    • Fluent written/spoken English
    • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
    • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
    • Multicultural sensitivity with strong communication skills
