Non-contact level measurement provides many advantages, especially with aggressive or dirty liquids. SICK ultrasonic sensors compare an emitted ultrasonic wave to the wave returend after hitting the target to detect level of liquids and bulk solids and convert it into analog and switching outputs.
Additional advantages:
- outstanding background suppression and reliable detection of objects, independent of their color.
- the application determines the output - binary or analog.
