Flow velocity measurement in road tunnels
The FLOWSIC200 is used for the contactless and accurate measurement of flow velocity and flow direction inside tunnels or exhaust ventilation ducts.On base of ultrasonic principle the FLOWSIC200 provides the cross-sectional mean average value of the flow velocity.
This measurement device is indispensable when air flow is dictated by climatic conditions - for ensuring optimal ventilation control and reducing running costs to a minimum.

  Remarks   It is important to measure the air velocity in a very representative way - i.e. cross the whole tunnel. This is the only way to ensure cost optimized ventilation control under normal conditions and safe operation during fires in tunnels.
