With its flush-mounted stainless steel membranes and the large range of hygienic process connectors the pressure transmitter series PHT is perfectly suited for sanitary applications in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry. With enhanced process temperatures, resistance to corrosive media, cavity-free design with hygienically- graded process connections, the PHT is distinguished by its outstanding functionality that is also corroborated by the EHEDG certification.

Technology

The pressure transmitter PFT is characterized by its highly accurate pressure measurement technology based on piezo-resistive sensors. The flushmounted stainless steel membrane is circularly welded. Wetted parts are made from high-grade 1.4435 stainless steel with surface roughness Ra < 0.4μm. Essential for the food & beverage industry: The pressure transmitting liquid is FDA compliant. The analog output provides a current or voltage signal that is proportional to the applied pressure.
