The PBT is a universal electronic pressure transmitter used in general industrial applications for pressure measurement of liquid and gaseous media. The PBT is SICK’s pressure transmitter for standard applications in machine tooling, control systems, hydraulics, pneumatics etc. The PBT is available in a wide selection of configurations enabling a perfect match to individual customer requirements. The precise and robust measurement technology, the compact dimensions and quick and simple installation distinguish the PBT as a real allround talent.

The electronic pressure transmitter PBT is characterized by its precise and robust pressure measurement technology along with its high overpressure safety. Depending on the measurement range, piezo-resistive or metal thin film sensors are used. Wetted parts are made from high-grade stainless steel. Therefore, the PBT is well suited for a large variety of fluids or gases and even corrosive media. The analog output provides a current or voltage signal that is proportional to the applied pressure.
