Dr. Robert Bauer
(Spokesman)
Dr. Robert Bauer has been Spokesman of the Executive Board of SICK AG since October 1, 2006. In addition, he is in charge of the technology portfolio and represents the process automation segment on a temporary basis. He came to the company in 1994 as division manager of research & development, automation technology division, and in 1998, he assumed overall responsibility for research & development. On January 1, 2000, he was appointed to the Executive Board, with his responsibilities including the factory automation segment and, in addition, the technology and research & development in the central divisions.
Born in Munich in 1960, he studied electrical engineering with special emphasis on electrophysics/optics at the Technical University of Munich from 1979 to 1985. In 1990, Robert Bauer received his doctorate in the field of semiconductor-based integrated optics.

Reinhard Bösl Reinhard Bösl has been appointed Executive Board Member for the Logistics Automation Segment with effect from 1 July 2007.
Born in the East Bavarian Parkstein in 1958, Reinhard Bösl studied information science in Munich. Afterwards he held a variety of positions at Witron Logistik + Informatik GmbH, in Parkstein, and became the company’s Managing Director in 1998. Since 2004 he has been active in management positions at Krones AG, in Neutraubling, including as Managing Director of the subsidiary Syskron GmbH. |

Markus Paschmann Markus Paschmann is a member of the Executive Board of SICK AG since July 1, 2006, and represents the newly structured factory automation segment.
Markus Paschmann was born in 1966 in Oberhausen and studied industrial engineering at the Technical University in Darmstadt. He began his career at Siemens AG and held various positions home and abroad before becoming Managing Director at HARTING Electronics GmbH & Co. KG, Espelkamp, in 1999. |

Markus Vatter Markus Vatter has been a member of the Executive Board since July 1, 2006, where he is responsible for finance & human resources.
Markus Vatter was born in Wiesbaden in 1966. After obtaining his degree at the Technical University in Darmstadt he started his career as industrial engineer at Robert Bosch GmbH, Stuttgart. His next position was at Müller Weingarten GmbH before he went to KaVo Dental GmbH in 2001, becoming Managing Director. |
