The LGT is a safety light curtain according to IEC 61496, Type 2 for safe protection of hands and personnel, e.g. at packaging equipment, assembly lines, revolving transfer machines, paternoster storage systems, palletisers and for protecting doors and gates.

One complete light curtain system consists of sender unit, receiver unit, control unit and two connection cables.
