VFS60 Incremental encoder - more than a match for AC Induction motor applications
| |
Most incremental encoders fitted to AC Induction motors were not originally designed to be motor feedback encoders. The result, an encoder which is not ideally suited to the application.
The VFS60 has been specifically designed as a feedback encoder for the Induction motor and incorporates important technical features to guarantee a long reliable service life and at the same time the highest possible performance. |
Increased bearing separation • Reduced run-out
• Reduced ripple on speed feedback
• Extended bearing life
Isolated encoder bearings • Elimination of bearing currents
• Improved EMC performance
• Extended bearing life
Metal code disc • As robust as an encoder with a plastic disc - but with wider temperature range -20 to + 100 deg C.
• As accurate as an encoder with a glass disc - but much more robust, shock resistance 70g/6ms and vibration 30g/10..2000Hz.
