The new 2006/42/EC Machinery Directive is in force in Europe from December 29th, 2009 and three safety standards EN ISO 13849-1, EN 62061 and EN 954-1 are available for the users.

Are you aware of the consequences and opportunities here? Which standard is valid for your area of application?
Important amendments in the construction process need to be taken into account, but cost savings are also possible thanks to the new safety standards.

You can find the safety-related parameters for determining the Performance Level or the SIL in the product's technical data in the product finder. To calculate the Performance Level with the free SISTEMA tool from the German IFA, you can download our components library.

We help design engineers, operators, manufacturers and importers with tailored solutions.
